Color Above the City

Lisbon surprised me in the best way.

Walking through this narrow street, I looked up—and there it was… a ceiling of color floating above everyday life. For a moment, everything slowed. The noise of the city softened, and all that remained was light, color, and human presence moving beneath it.

This image became one of my favorites from the entire Europe journey. It represents exactly what Lighting Shadows of the Human Heart is about—finding those unexpected moments that connect us through feeling, not just place.
