Photo Walks

Saturday, July 4, Independence Day in the USA, 250th year. Our town featured a parade. It’s here I enjoyed capturing candid images and a journalistic style, especially the red, white, and blue colors worn by many of the parade spectators. Of course, the parade, participants, horse drawn, carriages, marching bands, fire, rescue, and police vehicles, and last, but not least, the politicians.
An honor guard performs a ceremonial rifle salute beneath the American flag, paying tribute to the men and women whose service and sacrifice have protected our nation's freedoms.
Due to thunderstorms, rain, and high winds, the Saturday evening fireworks display was postponed until Sunday. Again, down by the river with the intentions of captioning sky and water.
