Living Among Statues

I first saw the scene from a distance. Something about the contrast called my attention— the man in the white walking, the white statue, sitting and life moving all around them.

As I walk closer, the composition began to speak. The man in White became the key element, connecting the statues the person seated to the left, and another figure and White entering the justice center on the right.

Street photography is about observing, anticipating, and being patient enough to see how all the elements come together. In this moment, the contrast between life and art, stillness and motion, create a visual story I had to capture.

What I love most is that every person in this frame adds to the narrative. We are all part of the same story, whether we are moving, resting, but just passing through.
