Many Currents, One Flow

Yesterday, I returned to Cuyahoga Valley National Park for a photo walk. It is a place I visited frequently when I lived in Ohio, and returning brought back memories of the peace and beauty I have always found there.

As I watched the waterfall move across the layered rocks, I noticed how the water separated into many individual streams. Each followed its own path, yet all remained part of one body—flowing together with strength, beauty, and shared purpose.

That became the meaning I wanted to express through this photograph: we may come from different places and travel different paths, but we are not truly separate. Like the many currents of a waterfall, we become stronger when united.

Nature continually reminds us that unity does not require sameness. Every stream contributes to the whole. Together, they create movement, power, and something beautiful that no single drop could create alone.
